Rubber Roofing – Which is the best Roofing Material? EPDM Rubber, Modified Bitumen, Torch Down or TPO roofing

There are basically two types of rubber roof materials used for flat roofs. EPDM Rubber Roofing and Modified Bitumen are made from rubber components and TPO or PVC membranes are from thermoplastics. To perform flat roof repairs, you need to determine what type of roofing system is on your roof.

Modified Bitumen Torch Down can have granules embedded or a Silver Coating can be painted over it for protection.

Once you know what type of rubber roof you have, you then can perform maintenance and flat roof repairs,
